There's no question that counseling and helping people find their way to wellness is where I belong. After several years in finance, I got married and started a family, which of course changes a lot of things. When it came time to get back to work, crunching numbers wasn't something I wanted to do. I wanted to be more involved with people. So I went back to school and earned a master's degree in rehabilitation counseling, and then got myself certified as a nutrition and health coach because I believe in the holistic approach to wellness. I started working as a therapist and haven't looked back. It feels so good to support and advocate for my clients. I'm finally using my strong sense of empathy and my excellent listening skills.
